September 16: WooWoo Night with Michelle Brewer
“Embodied Wellness: What Your Body Has Been Trying to Tell You”
Most of us grow up learning to analyze, achieve, and think our way through life. We become fluent in the language of the mind while forgetting the language of the body. Yet your body is constantly gathering information, adapting, protecting, and communicating. Long before the mind understands, the body often knows.
Embodied wellness is the experience of coming home to yourself—where your mind, body, emotions, energy, and spirit are no longer working against one another, but in conversation with one another.
In this experiential workshop, we’ll explore embodied wellness through the lens of somatics, nervous system science, yoga philosophy, and energetic awareness. Learn how to listen to the body’s subtle messages, recognize what they may be communicating, and respond with greater compassion, clarity, and self-trust.
This is an interactive workshop designed to help you learn about and experience these practices in meaningful and accessible ways.
You’ll leave with:
– Practical tools to regulate your nervous system
-A deeper understanding of your body’s signals and what they may be communicating
-Simple somatic and breathwork practices you can integrate into daily life
-Greater self-trust, resilience, and clarity for navigating relationships, work, health, and life’s challenges
