Brooke Richey is a multi-disciplined, award-winning composer, 20-year vocalist, and indie-rock artist with roots in jazz, musical theatre, choral music, gospel/worship, and rock. After earning her bachelor’s degree in music composition, she began writing songs and producing with indie-rock group Black Bird Collective, which now has two released albums. At Elsom, Brooke will share stripped-back versions of these songs along with covers. Beyond performing, Brooke composes, writes blog posts, books, and coaches holistic voice development. With a master of music in film scoring, Brooke’s passion is to tell stories truthfully, guiding her audience to inner peace and security through lyric, melody and authentic expression.
